Of course, we couldn’t do a whole issue on trying to combat the shock of the new, so we also cover the best mountain biking spots in the country; follow a trio of friends on a life-changing, spur-of-the-moment road trip; show you how to boondock with a good solar setup; go into alien territory (literally) on Colorado’s Cosmic Highway; and follow a van-traveling couple on their first ever trip into the Low Country.

There are plenty of other stories in here, too, but I’ll leave them to you to discover. Hopefully you’ll find something that you can identify with and that makes you feel at home, but also something that inspires you to embrace the unknown. It’s the balance of both that is the key to loving this lifestyle.
